Ceremony Information:

Thanks for your interest in our ceremonies.

PLEASE SEE OUR TEMPLE GUIDELINES here.

General Information:

The space is held in an intimate setting at our home temple Ceu do Som. We take a maximum of 16 participants to ensure the integrity and care of each person within the space, and we often have 2 assistants with us also. The ceremonies are curated by a team with many years of experience working with the master plants and are familiar in handling any variety of situations that may arise. It is important that one feels a sense of trust and safety to embark on this journey and we do our utmost to provide that space.

For more specifics about diet, clothing, natural supplements/medications and preparation see the Attendee Gudielines PDF here.

What to bring:

Bring comfortable clothing, a warm layer (or two) and water. We recommend long sleeves, sweaters, socks and shawls in order to be as comfortable as possible during the night.

Try to avoid synthetic materials and sleeping bags as the feeling and sound can be disruptive to your experience and that of others.

If you have a flashlight with a red-light setting it is helpful.

Please bring a white candle in a glass.

If it is your will, you are welcome to bring an instrument, a song or a word of poetry and prayer to share with the space.

We provide all the basic necessities you need such as blankets, pillows, buckets, toilet paper, water and a warm soup to end the night.

IMPORTANT:

*If you are taking any medications please check that this ceremony is suitable for you by checking if your Medication is listed within the MEDICAL section of the Attendee Guidelines here.
